Contest basis:
“We can be heroes”

All entries must work with the quote some how.

or you could even just have an epic scene with two kids being all like WE CAN BE HEROES! … well now you can’t do that one cause I said it lol XD but something along those lines.

Things you can’t do:
sexually explicit scenes!
will except graphic violence… to a level... if it’s really messed up (like little dead mutilated naked little kids) THEN NO!
no rape!

You can’t do something that has nothing to do with “we can be heroes” … so a fat man balancing a duck on their head singing I am the walrus… underwater… with one leg and a teacup… is a NO! because it has nothing to do with “we can be heroes” plus I just said it so that idea can’t be used now any way because that would cheating! (ps. that would be a cool looking picture XD)

Besides that it’s pretty much really open.

The competition will be judged on the originality and imagination put into the painting. also on effort. the means that if you’re not very good at art, but relative to your skill level you really did try hard and you really do put in a lot of effort and “love” you have even more chance then a guy who is a higher skill level then you … but obviously didn’t put that much effort in, or thought or really any imagination. ^_^ so don’t worry! ya’ll got yourselves a chance of winning if you work hard and want it bad enough lol.

Competition will be a month starting from august 12th ending September 12th. date MAY change if any complications arise and/or enough of you beg for an extension.

There will be three winners.

Well, since everyone thouroughly ignored my commissions journal, I've decided that the first 3 people to comment can request something and I will draw them in order I need some more drawing time; I've been too busy writing XD

Clubs I'm in:

I keep telling myself not to let anything get to me, because 'It could be worse', right? Well, yeah, and it just keeps getting harder and harder and I just want the bullshit to stop. Let me start from the beginning: on the first I was going to a friend's house, and I hadn't seen her in 6 months, but my grades aren't exactly the greatest since I'm still getting used to online homeschool, so my dad was pissed that my mom was letting me go. So for the next two weeks he was a complete prick and talked to me like I was a parasite. He's finally let up and gone back to my Disney-Land dad.

Next; my mom was just diagnosed with breast cancer two weeks ago. It has been HECTIC. She has to go to all of these different appointments, schedule MORE appointments, and now has to go in for surgery on the 1st. ON TOP OF her already working 3 jobs to pay for the ridiculous $1500 we have to pay every month for bills, we're on food stamps cuz we can't afford groceries, and LEAP cuz we don't have enough for propane. So, since she's so stressed out, I have to come home from work and clean the entire house before I even get to sit down so she doesn't have to come home and do anything else except maybe make dinner 1 or 2 nights a week, so now I'M exhausted.

Third; I want to see my bf the day after we find out the news about my mom cuz I just needed someone to talk to and hold me and let me know that he was there, and I was gonna go to his house, but he called me that morning and told me there wasn't any room in the car (they had to go grocery shopping first), and I was so upset and stressed that I wasn't gonna take no for an answer, so I didn't tell my mom, so she drove me up to the top of his road (he lives a couple miles away, so we meet up), and I thought 'they're just going grocery shopping, this wont take long'. Yeah. Right. I sat under a tree in the dirt while it was 40 degrees for THREE AND A HALF HOURS before I finally decided to walk back somewhat into town so I could get somewhere with cell service and call him, so I get to a place where I can get ahold of him, and he tells me that they're on they're way home, 20 mins tops, and it took me over 20 to get to where I needed cell servicce, so I'm like "fuck I have shitty timing", so I start BACK towards his road and they came and got me halfway since I didn't make it to their road in time, and had to ride on Lakota's lap the rest of the way to his place, and I only got to stay 2 of the six that I was supposed to.

FOURTH: Just when I think 'Hm, maybe it will start getting better, my video card (the best fucking video card my mom could possibly get for my computer) crashed, and I could no longer get a visual on my monitor. SO, I take it into the repair shop because, oh look, my warranty JUST expired, like 2 fucking days before this happened, so I couldn't even talk to Dell tech. Support for free, I would've had to pay STARTING at $50. I get a call back from the guy at the shop 2 days later saying it's my video card. SO he went ahead and ordered me a new one (he says the one he ordered is better than the one he has in his gaming computer) and for everything it's gonna cost me $150, but my dad is offering to pay for half, which means I have to take $75 out of the wimpy $92 check I got today (normally it's around $150-$200), but at least I don't have to pay for all of it. Oh, and did I mention that my computer decided to do this to me THE WEEK OF FUCKING FINALS?!!! I had to contact all of my teachers and tell them what was going on, and they STILL will only give me until monday (which is when I get my computer back) to get it all done. FUCK. MY. FUCKING. STUPID. LIFE.

Gah, at least I have Lakota still. He's been so good to me....He's the only one that can help me through this so that I won't go completely insane. This month has been terrible for EVERYONE though. WE don't know anyone who's not having a bitch of a time with things right now.

Clubs I'm in:

I've been thinking about starting commisions so that I can challenge myself and make other people happy lol So if I did do commisions, it would be $3 for a sketch, $5 for lineart, and $10 for colored lineart. I wouldn't do backgrounds, because I fail at those...But yeah...Let me know if any of you would be interested in commisioning me, and if you want something other than what i have listed, let me know and we can work something out
